Design Tips: INSPIRATION VS COPYING

Copying other peoples work to learn from is okay, as long as you don't share it or try to pass it off as your own. But the best way to be inspired by other peoples work is not to copy it directly, but to be influenced by certain pieces of it, and mix it with inspiration from other pieces to create something new.
